Got an sp30, average of 82mph in a 60mph! under cover police car, they're not playing fare any more :)

Would be nice if we could get a groop buy on snoopers

6 bans and a total points accumilation over the years of 174 points...bear in mind though 80 of these points i got in one sitting before i could legally drive anyway so its not as bad as it looks

fkin hell!!!!!

no 94 is good

that must be a world record

steve

Zero points, no producers and been driving for nearly 7 years now.

Wood....wood....I need wood I tell ya!!!!! :eek::rofl:

You still go that problem Andy? The Mrs must be climbing the wall by now.

BTW, 3 points at the mo, had 9 a couple of years ago.

50k miles a year and no points yet, but i know thats only by luck.

I dont drive thru Wales much so that helps!

Fookin camera partnerships make my blood boil but thats another story.

......

Was even a ''getaway'' driver in a garden centre ''heist''

once, got nicked! They tried to do me for no insurance

as it was a mates car (MG Maestro EFI!!), but had a

good solicitor. Got off on the ''Insured to drive any vehicle

that does not belong to or hired to'' clause on the back

of the policy, even at 2am with 2 lions head fountains

in the car! & various shrubberies! :x:

Thats class mate :D

In sixteen years of driving, only one producer, and three points (expired now).

Now I've got the Zed, only time will tell ;)

Had loads of fast cars, Escort RS turbo, XR4i, Cavalier SRi (Yes I know I said FAST cars!!), Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo etc, never had a point. Owned my Zed for a week, A WEEK, and got three points!!!! Well ars3d off!!

Picked up an SP60 nearly 5 years ago on a deserted country road on a perfectly clear day with a dry road and no-one in sight in my 1.3 Astra automatic. His $peed track£r caught me doing 83 - about five seconds before he got me I was shouting to my mate "look! - I got up to 95 in my astra!"

I have a clean licence. Bit of a miricle really. I,ve been stopped for speeding a few time, but always got away with a warning.

Jase

Was driving home after clubbing just befor xmas and the guy in front of me was weaving all over the road obviously pissed out of his head. So seeing as it was a dual carridge, Indicate, Mirror, Signals, GUN IT.

Just as I was slowing down for my exit

DAYLIGHT

3 points for doing "56 in a 30" fook me that was too close as I know I had gone way over that

Oh when I was 18 I was doing moonies out of the window of the car on the M25 and my mate got nicked, I know he got points and I got a court summons which I could not attend as the army decided to send me on a tour in S America.

I got fined 3 months wages and had extra duties for 2 weeks.

In my dangerous driving career history, i think ive been done for most of stupidest offences in the book.

I got banned twice for 2 danderous drivings, but thats not bad considering i had NIP's for 8 dangerous drivings.

Ive also had some of the most stupid non endorsables in history.

loads of what were £20 fines for red light to the front (for a knight rider), one for having my seat too far back (i used to have the back of my seat leaning quite far back, but used to sit up and not lean on it), one for driving an unroadworthy vehicle (Y reg cortina painted with a brush and no bumpers, just two fecking great spikes that the bumper bolts onto!).

And the stupidest by far (which the CPS actually dropped) was driving on the pavement. I got pulled over by the riot van on a roundabout of all places, so i exited the roundabout and pulled over on the path as the road was double yellows, i also pulled far enogh forward for the police to be able to pull up behind me, and they slapped a £20 fine on me for driving on the pavement.

And i forgot the best one, Carrying a passenger dangerously, gave my mate a tow who was on a pushbike, he was holding onto the passenger door!!!Cost me £50 in court.

He was done for "dangerous Cycling" cost him £50 in court too, and to top it off they told him to push his bike home, but instead of doing this my other mate who got banned from driving that day and was pissed decided to ride it to see if they would do him, and when they blue lighted him he kept going, wrong sided a roundabout for good measure. He was done for failing to stop for a police officer and dangerous cycling, cost him about £200 and a couple of hours in the cells!!!

Never thought a pushbike could get you in so much sh1t!!!

Never thought a pushbike could get you in so much sh1t!!!

LOL, thats reminded me about my mate who races pushbikes, there's a nice hill in Leicester on Evington Lane (really steep for about 300m) and its in a 30mph zone, the police had a speed gun setup at the bottom of the hill, so he thought he'd go as quick as he could. He managed 46mph so the copper said, £60 fine and a severe talking to later he made his merry way home.

Rich:)

I have a lecturere that got nicked for speeding, hes a cyclist. He was doing 42mph in a 30 and no hill. The copper actualy asked him did he know what speed he was going.

He keeps coverts the fine like its some form of gold medal. I think he had to go to court over it for some reason.

cant remember all the points I have had on mine, most outstanding were :

Speeding with no designated leader 6 points (they call it racing )

97 in a 40 Banned, £600 fine, payable immediately ( I literally had to ask for permission to leave the court to go to a bank cos I didnt have 600 quid on me FFS) (7.30am, bright sunny morning, WSB round, Fireblade, say no more)

120 on the M20 six points ("didnt you see my colleague on the overbridge?", " What fooking overbridge??")

115 on one of the N roads in Northern Ireland (Northwest 2000), chased by the Garda (trying to knock us off the bikes) escorted to the ferry. Returned to the court day to find all six of us had been banned for 2 years (from driving in NI...boohoo  )

Clean for me too

I did get 3 points back in 1992 for an average of 99.7 over a measured 1/2 mile on the M11 in Essex.

The copper was trying his new toy - a video equipped unmarked Senator 3.0 24v.

I saw him and guessed it was an unmarked piglet car but I slowed down too late :( Fair play to him, though. He said (showing me the vid) ".....there's you appearing over that hill at 118mph......and braking when you saw me. I should do you for over 100, but I'll take your average and you'll just get a fixed penalty..."

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Also had a Datsun 120y, painted it matt black & covered it

in graffitti (various bands, obscenities etc..), was road legal

though, never got any points from it, but the bogies used to

pull me all the time, just to read the writing on it! :xxx:

Also got pulled on a vespa (was a scooterboy back in the day),

had a beercan as a tailpipe, stuffed with loft insulation!

The bogies took a very dim view of it...couldn't see the funny side

That was another producer & a vehicle defect notice!

My mum says something about a miss-spent youth....dunno what she's

on about! :)

Clean for about 5 years but in the past I've been banned for 28 days and had 11 points on my license.

6 of those were for driving without due care and attention when I pulled out of a junction and hit a car LOL

All the rest were 3 point speeding offences (lots of them over the years!) and the ban was for doing 70 on a 40mph dual carriageway near Donnington when I was late for a rally stage.

I did get the thumbs up from Juha Kankkunen and a burnout from Colin McRae as they passed the copper filling out the ticket though! :D

By some freak of nature I have still got a clean licence :D

Just wondered how many points people on here have. :nono:

Me too never had a point :D

Clean licence now but had points in the past.

Got done for doing 95mph on the M55 in my R5GT Turbo racing a XR2i. I was lucky mind cos I had been doing 120+ before realising this blue rover 820 in my rear view mirror  :nelson:

Also got done driving through the outshirts of a village at 40mph by a female bobby :o

Me too never had a point :D

Remember to touch wood when saying stuff like that....

I have been banned twice and don't own a z (yet)

totaalled up too many points first time, speeding/undue care and attention etc. second DD and IN10

recently got photographed in my Mrs Renault Sport Clio Cup 172 doing 42 in a 30, we lied and sand we didn't know who was driving, they sent a letter back saying tough, yopu have to tell us or your liable, so put my name down, now still got all paper work at home, how long untill thay can't do anything as I am waiting ages before I sent the form back, any one know ?
