Starter Motor

Hi there,

Every now and again i go to start my Z and the starter motor screeches. Is this a common thing to go wrong ? and what would i be looking at for a new one when and if it goes caput :(

    about 160quid for a rcon unit +vat

     

    you should get it sorted, its probably gonna go really soon,

     

    you can usually get them rebuilt if its not the planet gears,

     

    mine started doing hte odd squeal, then one morning it didnt start at all :(
