I guess as the stock gauge isn't that accurate and i will eventually fit a boost controller i need to fit and after market one.......

Which is best electronic or mechanical and how easy are they to fit?

Also has anyone any photos of a fitted one other than on the piller?

Finally which is the smallest one i can get?

Cheers

Most boost controllers can show the current boost on their display, so if you mount that somewhere easy to read you don't strictly need a seperate one - but it's a heck of a lot easier to read a proper old-fashioned needle I always think.

You have to tee into the vacuum lines so that the new gauge has somewhere to read the pressure from, but then some of the work is done for you because the stock gauge is already plumbed in.

Not sure which ones are good / bad, I could do with finding out meself - I had a Splitfire in the previous Z which seemed to work well but was quite hard to read in a passing glance, so I wouldn't go for one of those again. In fact for that reason I'd be wary of getting "the smallest one" !

I don't like pillar gauges either... Kirbz has a pod above and to the right of the main binnacle - on the shoulder of it IYSWIM. That seemed quite a good solution to me.

Greddy has a 46mm boost guage wivh u can put on the plastic behind ur steering
