Is the only problem with the freely downloadable software, the fact that you cant get hold of the leads to connect to pc. Or are there other differences in the software. The reason I ask is I have being talking to the Snap On rep, and the leads are available from them.

Kevin, As far as Im aware the freeware only does allows you to view restricted engine monitors and a few mods such as Adjust base idle etc. It will not allow you to do solenoids, HICAS etc

JD may be the best man to explain.

The software alone will not do anything ... you need the interface to interact, interpret and display the variables on a PC screen.

When you're ready to buy one let me know ...

Regards,

Conzult freeware that will work with the DIY interface is very limited. If you have a DIY interface, Danny can supply you the full conZult to work with it too.

There's also Ztalk which has limited functionallity compared to the full conZult.
