Hi,

I have just taken delivery of a secondhand H pipe but I have noticed that one of the pipe openings at the cat end has a smaller inside diameter. It has some sort of insert in it to reduce the diameter. Is this some sort of restrictor.

Any one seen this before

I am going to get it fitted lata today and I don't know wheter to try and remove it.

Cheeers,

Yes this is one of the restrictions to alter the power characteristics for the Jap spec car. It's only spot welded in, you should be able to knock it out.
