do a search on batteries and you will pick up info. I used a 065 model and it worked fine in my NA, dont know if the TT requires more power

I've never had much luck at Harry's for anything Z related. For a start they have the wrong data in their product books. I'm not saying they won't have a battery that will fit your Zed, just that it's unlikely they'll know what you're talking about. One thing you have to make sure of is that the battery terminals are the right way around (the battery loom doesn't have enough "play" in it to allow for a "back -to-front" situation). When standing in front of the car the battery terminals should be on the "back" side of the battery (closest to the firewall) with the positive terminal on the left and the negative on the right. Try and get a battery with a high cold cranking amps rating and of roughly the same dimensions as the one you've got now.

Hope this has helped ...

Regards,

I got a Calcium battery from harrys when they were about £45 at the time with 25% off. It has the same I think 565A rating as original but was a lot smaller than the Nissan one. I junked the black box with the polystyrene stuff as well. Mine is UK and the positive connection needed pulled a little to meet the smaller battery. I'll have a look later to tell you the type. Other benefit of the smaller size is much more room around it for air and hopefully the turbo wont roast it even without the black box. Anyway been in a while now and no probs

I got a new battery for my import from Harrys. Came with a 2yr Guarantee as well.

Will nip outside and see if I can find out the model # for you in a bit.

Hey guys thanks for your help!

Just been to local Harrys and YES the information they have is absolute B****s!

None of the ones in stock you recommened either but ended up with an 096 which fits fine.

Fitted and running! Rooves off for tommorrow!

HBC065 calcium battery fits a UK but you need a rubber block or similar under the clamp because it is smaller than stock but no less powerful
