I getting progress to tap into the sump so I can fit an oil temperature gauge.

I think most of these type gauges all use the same fitting? can someone confirm what type and where I might get one asap.

Thanks

Most likely to be 1/8BSP fitting. Tried the traders on this site?

Didnt ur guage come with a sensor and a fitting?

another nice solution, so you won't have to start drilling holes in the sump:

"The billet aluminum oil sandwich adapter is installed above the oil filter, and makes it easy to install aftermarket oil temp/pressure sensors (2 1/8 PT ports and 1 12mm port). Even comes with installation tools. Lowers oil filter by 27mm."

Have thought about this one but as you say, anyone got one,i have a sump temp sender ,and would now like to sort out the aftermarket pressure gauge but allways putting it of

I bought a oil pressure guage off of Chris but didn't realise it came without a sensor adaptor. Chris supplied me with a greddy oil temp adaptor which was really good. I even managed to get the oil temperature guage sensor fitted into it.

It does look like a good idea, though I think it would depend on the shape of the sensor you use. I only say this as I tried to connect my oil pressure sender in the US location above the oil filter and it fouled the steering U/J.

Put it all together again and I couldn't steer - seriously unimpressed!
