I haven't had time to search around yet as i'm at work.

Is this site for Z31's aswell as Z32's?

If not can someone point me in the right direction.

Dont get me wrong... I LOVE Z32's and will have one in the next year or two but cant afford one over here because i'm only 19/20. So the insurance companies wont touch me (it was hard enough getting insurance on my 200SX). In OZ you dont need insurance... and i'm going back at the end of the year.

 

Anyway back to my question. I want to know if the Z31's ever came out with the digi dash over here. I owned one in OZ with a digi dash. I have a Nissan Sunny ZX coupe... in Japan they had the digi dash. now i'm pretty sre the dash will fit my Sunny. So if anyone knows of anyone getting rid of a digidash please let me know!

LOL, that's a bit harsh, I've had 2 200's, great cars and I don't wear a dress, well....not all the time anyway :D

Correct me if I'm wrong, Nigel, but didn't he ask for information concerning Z31s? Very harsh given that they are 300zxs also .... :nono:

 

I'm also an ex-200 owner, and I rarely wear a dress, weekends only, of course! ;)

 

Oh, come to think of it, I'm an ex-300zx owner too ... damn these pesky urls!! :tongue:

 

Devil, don't think it did ever come out here with a digi-dash, but as Herman rightly points out - zclub.net is the place for Z31 officianados!! :D

I'm mainly into 4cyl nissans... but my 1st car was a Z31 300ZX AE, and i absolutely love the Z32's (not to keen on the 350 Z's though... i drove one when they first came out about 1 1/2 years ago) *i know they have just come out over here, i've got a sales brochure sat here on my desk*.

What is the insurance like on the Z32's for most of you? Are there many N/A's over here?

 

And how do i put up my own sig and avatar on this website? I cant seem to find the option.

I know it has a strong following out there, but to me, after to triumphs that were the 240 and 260, things went gradually downhill untill the Z32 appeared. (Just waiting for Hermie to point out that they were Datsuns, not Triumphs!)

Well... you call it 'road tax' over here in OZ it's called a 'car license' It cost about the same as your road tax does but it includes 3rd Party insurance.

But if you happen to live in a badish area and do want insurance it's not quite as bad as over here!

Mmm thats interesting, so you can drive any car 3rd party after passing your oz test, must be alot of written off sports cars i would think?

Dont blame you for not liking it here, so whats it like over there?

What price is fuel, fags/beer, houses compared to here? I have no idea.

What rate is income tax / NIC, if you know?

Do they have silly speed limits on roads and gatso scameras?

Is the weather better than ..ahh i know that one!

Yeh i am from Ripon! Originally and i'm living there now. I'd love to catch up with you sometime, as i've NEVER been in a Z32 yet i love them so much!

Pass your OZ test (which is soooo bloody easy its not funny) and you can drive ANY car aslong as it has license (road tax).

No there arn't many written off sports cars coz all the dickhead teens (i'm still a teen for 2months but u know what i mean... kinda like 'boy racers' ova here) drive 3.6L V6's or 4.7L V8's (Holden Commadores).

It's really nice over there, i cant fault much apart from the speed limits. They are fairly slow compared to over here. But they dont have gatso's or things like that. They either have cops standing there with cams or cop cars with cams or road side fixed cams (but the radio stations warn you where they are each day).

Income Tax is nowhere near as harsh as over here. And you pay VAT *17.5%* on every thing over here... over there its 10% GST and it's not even on everything.

General living, house prices and stuff like that is stupidly cheap. (About 1/2 of what it is here).

I'm paying about £250/month renting a room in a 6 bedroom house over here... over there i'd be paying that on a mortgage for a BLOODY BIG HOUSE!

 

Weather... i think everyone knows that ;-)
