Does anyone now the convertion table for PSI=Bar,say from 14psi to 25psi.........Cheerz........Vinz :confused:

1 psi = 0.06894757bar

 

14=0.965, 15=1.034, 16=1.103, 17=1.172, 18=1.241, 19=1.31,

20=1.378, 21=1.447, 22=1.516, 23=1.585, 24=1.654, 25=1.723

sorry to hijack but my mate just got a Punto GT Turbo. The boost gauge goes up to 1.4, now is that 1.4 PSI as in a little extra nudge of power, or is it 1.4 bar as in more powerful boost than 2 ZXs put together!!?!!?? anyone know?!?

True... in a closed system where you haven't got a variable source of pressure regulated by waste gates.

p.s. I was referring (as can be seen from my in depth analysis;)) to the two different types of turbo (apeture design, flow charateristics and CSA) that would be found on the two cars and the relative boost pressures. As opposed to a straight forward hydraulic theory. :)

ah thanks folks. cleared that up anyway. he goes on about his punto having higher boost. i just ask him for a race and then he shuts up :hyper:
