I am really in 2 minds whether to buy a Profec E spec boost controller. At £370 + fitting, I don't want to be having this done if it's not going to give me some decent horsey/ performance gains. :D

Who's had one then and just how good are they? Why should I buy one? Are there better ones around for a simlar or cheaper price?

Confused as usual!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers

ive got a profec e01, just get one u wont regret it. remember though you will only be able to raise your boost to around 12 psi with the standard chip, when u get a chip you will then be able to go to around 16 psi as by then the injectors and turbos are reaching their limits.

just get one and go play.

If you go to the pod on the 18th, you can see mine... and my boost controller.. oo errr missus

i was quite happy with boost jets for a couple of years but once you have a controller you couldnt go back.

ive got the blitz sbc, i like it cos you can have a really low setting for driving in the rain, you dont get nasty boost spikes or boost dropping off, you can bring the boost in gradually to reduce wheelspin and you can wind it up for that little bit extra if your at the track with a tank full of optimax and octane booster :D:D

Go on you know you wanna spend :D

Shame to think of this now as you just missed a much better deal through a group buy. My advice would be to shop around untill you get someone willing to sell one for more like £330! (fitting is around £100 depending where you go)

Alternatively - there are cheaper controller that do the same job, but with less style! Greddy Bs aren't bad at all by all acounts - and much cheaper
