Mine is on my living room floor at the moment along with a host of other bits ;) Will be going on in 2-3 weeks.

I'm interested in how other people have found it.

I did mine last saturday but i haven't had chance to try it yet  , i was amazed just how much difference in size and weight there was when i got the old one off.

Getting mine done on Thursday. Spend most of my time above 5000 rpm (advantages of unlimited autobahns) so hopefully the engine won't shake itself to pieces!!

Mine was booked for next week, but I'm still waiting for a competition clutch to arrive from the US (to go with the new lightened flywheel, stage 2 tubs and boost controller!) :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Is there a harmonic balancer on the Zed? If so, does the underdrive pulley replace it? or does it stay on the engine with only the pulley being replaced?

If the balancer comes off- doesn't that have a detrimental effect on the engine?

Leonard

You need to do a search on this - and on TT net - there's loads of discussion and differing views, but the most seem to think that the zed is ok without, though some report extra engine noise.

In the end you have to make your own mind up I guess!
