p.p.s no offence to import owners!!!!

I know loads of U don't like auto's (like I got!) so each to their own init

The 4th link on there what A LOAD OF Crap !!! 580bhp £9,499 G Reg, LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE PADDING OUT THE SALE WITH A BIT OF BULLY THERE DUDES. What mods has it got then apart from allegedlly modifying Turbos, I bet it hasn't even been de-catted ? With a FULL STAINLESS SYSTEM ? Let alone chipped, Re-Bored with Drop forged Pistons (Which you would Need for that kind of power), Intercoolers are they upgraded ??? Prob not ?? Ported ? Cams ? Lightened Flywheel ? Lightened Underpulley ? etc etc AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON AND ON FOR THAT KIND OF SPEC !!! It's all paintjob, wheels etc and all of a sudden someone thinks that they are sitting on a Goldmine. I've seen it a Million times before especially with GTS-T Skylines Hyping them up to be something that they are not, Just another typical AUTOTRADER ADVERT Total BULL**IT.

I've seen that car, and the paint's not even that good. All cloudy. The shite you have to wade through on Autotrader just to get a half decent car is amazing. I don't think there are many people who actually advertise honestly, or even approaching honestly.

I don't think that people necessarily advertise dishonestly I just think that they get all excited about films like Fast and the Furious, buy a jap car, find out a little bit about modifying cars and then Fanny's your Aunt. The car has probably never even been near a Dyno.

After doing a few minor mods they are then bragging about huge power, the work was prob not done by any of the likes of SE Nissan, Abbey Motorsport, Middlehurst, Grasshopper or Thor etc etc most likely done by their local spanner monkey who is a bit of a geezer and just passing in conversation mentioned to the car owner "THIS CAR IS PUSHING OUT 580bhp" the owner then believes this to be true, Hey Presto.

I think there are a fair few people/traders who are economical with the truth though. Like I found out when I was trying to get mine.

Thanks for all the responses.

It needs to be a manual twin turbo, but not worried if it's an import or uk spec.

I originally wanted a manual- nothing would do but a manual. I found my choice was severly limited, so much so that I eventually bought an NA, mainly because it was a manual. Now I have driven autos and manuals I don't think it really is that important. If the auto box goes you can always have it converted to a manual for about £1500.

I think I should have considered an auto as my choice would have been MUCH better- and chances of getting a good car increased. As it turned out I got a good one, but had to settle for an NA. This isn't an attempt to start ye olde manual v. auto argument, just you saying you will get a pick of better cars if you don't exclude autos.
