Looking to get a freelander for the Mrs! has anyone here got or had one that can give some good pointers in to what I should be looking out for?

I hear that there are a lot of problems with them and pretty unsafe if it is for your loved ones :cry:

Yup, wer had 1 that came back to the workshop 3 times for oil in the water. Also twice for a head gasket, all in the time of 6 weeks.

Now that is scary because the one I went to see tonight said that it had had its head gasket done last year and it's only covered 65k but the car is imaculate.

 

Starting to get cold feet now!

Looks like I'm gonna have to look for something else. Shame cus the one I found was an absolute pearler.

and the 2.5 V6 does less mpg than a Z

Fragile head gaskets and generally unreliable.

 

Buy a Rav4 or Honda CRV instead :hyper:
