anyone know how heavy the standard spec uk's are with tyres

Rear will probably be heavier than front due to width.

AndyZ has just been most helpful and told me to send with Royal Mail (Andy - just checked and its still 30KG mate :) )

Im hoping one rear and one front will be under 30kg.

Cheers

I sent some wheels by a service on the web- http://www.parcel2go.com. They were by far the cheapest I could find - £42 or so for the four wheels. They came and took them away the next day and delivered them next day no problems. They had a weight limit of 25kg per package, and I weighed them at about 25kg per back wheel (on not very accurate bathroom scales) so they could have been more. The guy took them no problem. The wheels (with tyres too) were 10 inch azev Ms and 8 inch fronts which were 20kg including tyres.

Sorry if no one asked- but I think they are cheaper than Royal Mail or Parcelforce - tell me if I'm wrong. It is an online division or broker of Omega I think. Hope that's of some use to someone.

Having just put a sorted set of 18" MOMO Arrows on i have my Jap Spec (225/50/R16) lyin around!

And the magic number is....... 3 stone

Im afraid i dunno the conversion to metric, but i'm sure someone does.

Pete

I weighed one of my stock UK rears yesterday and it was 20Kg with inflated tyre.

Anyone know where to get hold of some big ass boxes that will take a wheel with tyre?
