I have bought a 19" wheel for my soarer from Andy, but the offset of this wheel is only 35, and i am looking for 45 (as standard for Soarer). there is 10mm different, what do you guys suggest me to do? do i need to sell it and buy another one( dont really want to do this way, as it is a really nice wheel)?

any suggestion appreicated

Thanks indeed

Can you not use a spacer?

Yeah a 10mm spacer should do it. Hmmmm... or would it increase the problem...

I say just bung it on and go for a fast drive down a bumpy twisty road. If nasty arch scraping noises start happening then you know you have a problem!! :D

no 10mm spacer will make it worst, as the wheel spacer is only for decreasing the offset not increasing the offset if i am right. So, i'll fit em on and do the 4 wheel alignment to get a better handling hopefully.

I had this problem when I had my soarer. I bought lovely new Azev Ms (they were REALLY LOVELY) then sold the piggin car. You could have had them brand new with the correct 45 offset (obviously) for £400 with brand new tyres only I sold them on eBay. So that's not much help :D. Just they were lovely and I miss the wheels let alone the car now... it was a nice car.

Spacers would make the problem worse. The Azevs were machined at the factory to the right offset and I thought were a good bargain new.
