Had a new single exit exhaust made up on Friday by Leon at Alunox exhausts (07811 196727). This design is probably a bit OTT for most people but it sounds amazing. The fit is perfect too.

Can't recommend this bloke enough - as he's a proper industrial exhaust specialist he knows about pressure drop and fluid dynamics so the design gives thought to it, no sharp bends, proper collector design, tapered steps etc. Also, the whole thing is TIG, not MIG welded and is proper 316L pipe, not cheap high carbon tube as most places use.

Lending him my spare engine to jig some manifolds up on and he already has jigs for divorced flange downpipes.

Here are some pics:

Just been out a spin and the turbos are boosting extra 0.7psi at same settings, so guess there's less back pressure :D

Sweet Jesus and the little orphans John! You weren't exaggerating about the quality!  Puts mine to shame! ;) :D

It sounded loud enough over the phone, can't wait to hear it up close and personal! Nice one bud, well pleased for you! :hyper:

They came from the Zcentre, They were the first to come off prodution and maybe the quality has improved, but I had to cut all the backs of mine and remake them so the lights fitted properly. also the front face you see was all shapes and I had to machine them back so much that in some places I had to strenghten the face. Then I gave them a skin of filler and rubbed em down for priming. I am contemplating making them in Ally so they'd be sharper and fit perfect. If enough people where interested I could get a production run so they'd be a proper fit and water tight without having to glue the thing in with sealer. The lenses I painted so that they looked the part. Deemon Tweeks sell the lenses and it might be easier to make your own pannels.

I think I will give him a call to see if he can do mine.

Leon is a top bloke if you want his number I'll PM you it. The day before he did John's Bazooka he was making manifolds for Turboprop Aircraft. And people here are worried about his manifolds

Lol, I thought mine was OTT!

What size pipe are you going to use for the actual runs from front to back?

Mark did he do your exhaust?

Yeah, they look 2.5-3" won't be a problem for him to do that for you.

:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :D nice one John.

He's just altered my back boxes for now but, he's done one for a TDR Celica I imported for my wife I'll post the picks later. Been waiting for Johns engine to arrive because I want him to make me manifolds as well. With summer just round the corner I'm just going to have Cats back for now then in November when I have the engine rebuilt and new tubs I'll have the manifolds and Catless front section. He's made a systems for a few people I know with performance motors + a few bike exhaust systems and racing frames too he and his Dad are bl**dy highly skilled crafts men.
