If I were to buy 555cc injectors, which make should I buy and why?

And where can I get a good deal?

I would want them to be fully tested, I do not want the chance of installed a faultly injector?

Advice please.

hey Jez,

RC Engineering injectors are used reworked injectors and the Nismo 555cc injectors are brand new. Steve and I got the Nismo ones and you know how Steve's car idles... better than with stock injectors!

SGP,Coz or Vince from North Texas Nissan - they all can get you the Nismo ones. Price is around $225 each

Thanks Adrie,

Whats the story with your car, is it the piston-ring? Such a shame, but at least you had fun all day and won a prize!

Thanks for helping out... Everything's still up and running great. Seeing Steve's and your kit/mods really makes me want to spend some cash... I had a feeling this might happen...

Don't know yet... I want to remove the engine next week and take a look inside to see what has happened. I now have to hurry to finish my other engine. In the meantime I'm driving a 600 guilder beater car with a topspeed of 140 km/hour and it takes me 3 km of road to get to that speed. LOL

Yesterday I've ordered the rest of the internal parts like the JWT wild cams, Crower rods, JWT Forged pistons and JUN valve springs. All this stuff has to be coated by Swaintech with a low friction coating to reduce heat in the engine. The skirts of the new pistons are getting a low friction coating and the dome of the piston a GoldCoat for a better heat transfer.

Once you have felt the extra power there's no way back! ;)

Adrie,

Were you said person that lost cylinders 4 and 6 then ??

If you can Mail us some of the pics from the event that would be top, we can stick em in the events section.

That motor sounds the biz, Get a Teflon caoting and it truely will be bullet proof then :o)

Yep, cylinder 4 and 6 are dead! But man... did I have some fun on the tracks last sunday :-) I'll mail some pics to you.

As for coating the engine, you definitely DON'T want teflon in your engine because it will wear off! If you really want to know everything about engine coatings then you have to checkout www.swaintech.com

My cams, valve springs and rods will all get a PolyMoly low friction coating and the dome of the pistons will get a GoldCoat.

This will make my engine BOMB proof! ;)

Dam Adrie, That sounds nice,

U wanna give us any ideas of the costs involved ??

Sorry to hear about the other engine tho, Did you weld the pistons??

Z ya
