Hi fellas started the engine out, rebuild process over the weekend, anyway, got a bit of a problem
after working on the car for a while, i decided to take the centre panel off, and to my horror this is what I saw!
something had managed to get through the bumper, and slam into the oil cooler at great speed!!
cooler was 3 inch BACK from where is should be, bent the top bar that it bolts too and crumpled all the bottom mount, sqaushed the pipes that sit there and kinked all the piping :(
with this in mind, if flow was interrupted or even stopped, how much damage would that have made to the engine internals? (bear in mind a rod bearing has already gone!).
