Saw one for sale in the Thames Autorader 2nd hand for £24k

One here £24k with 5k miles YEA RIGHT

I test drove one for an hour a couple of weeks back and I was well impressed at the handling. It still felt heavy but had no problems booting it round the B-Roads in the wet.

Straight line acceleration felt well down on the 300, although the power being more linear is probably deceptive.

The engine note was lovely and willed you to rag it lol.

It was £24k IIRC, and £28k for the GT pack 350Z, which does look nice.

Still not a patch on my 300ZX though

It's £24k for the base model, and £26.5k for the GT-pack .. which (of course) is the one to have. It's another 500 notes for the Rays alloys (again, you must have these), another 150/200 for metallic paint (I think, can't remember). It's also another 500 quid for the orange leather (should that take your fancy) and it's another 1500 for sat nav.

As for the cheap cars, they are mainly 2002 JDM imports .. the spec of the JDM car is inferior, as too is the build quality, so I'm told. The UK spec cars (which only began Oct 2003) are holding up with far better residuals. As far as I'm aware, also, all of the 2004 allocation of cars is now sold, so this should help to further bolster residuals for the limited supply of UK models.

I'll definitely being trying to write an objective review of how it compares to my 3 previous Z32s, once I've had a chance to live with it a little longer (only done 400 miles so far) ... Unfortunately (eh?) I've been away on holiday, so I've missed some drive time. ;)

Suffice it to say for now, it's a different experience to the Z32 in many ways - but so far so good, and it turns heads in the same way that all of the previous incarnations of the Nissan Z-car have :hyper:

Anyway, enough from me, for now! ;)

CheerZ,

JB.

There's a supercharged 360bhp one in a recent EVO mag. Apparently it's excellent. It's a stillen charger but can't remember which company over here did it.

The last time I was in Middlehurst They had a Brand New bayside blue 350Z with Nismo Supercharger. Official Nissan Opptional extra. That put the puchase price at £31,000. It's rated at 370 BHP and Andy Middlehurst informed me that Nissan has no intension of turbo charging, He also told me that Stateside someone is making a serious Super charger and looking at 600+ BHP.

Now people on this forum will no how much I dislike this new 350Z, but the truth is it won't be long before their kicking our buts

You wont get a 350z turbo - Middlehurst have supercharged it though as an option - It voids the Nissan warranty but they give their own 12 month one on it. Costs an extra 4k or so.

And if you want a new 350Z you'll be waiting until August 13th, irrespective of colour. The chap in Lookers reckons the TV ads have put 2 months on the lead time!

(This also means I've got Bob of talking office mate into one...)

According to andy Middlehurst it The Nismo Supercharger they are fitting does not void warrenty. He was trying to sell one to me last time I was in there. (I used to have one of there stage 1 R33GTR's) He must think I'm minted. Mind you if I got shut of the Z I might be.

Oh ya speed six have got 2 350Z's for sale now and two more in next month none of em spoken for. The two they got are Orange or Silver and both ugly.
