Supercharging an N/A

Hi all. New to Z ownership by a few weeks and loving it.

Does anyone have any experience in supercharging a 300ZX? I know its gonna be expensive. Any comments or suggestions appreciated...EXCEPT "you should have bought a TT"..blah blah.. ;)

I have: 1991 import N/A, induction kit, de-catted stainless exhaust. Dont know exact spec cos still checking it out. oh and pretty red nobbly bits covering the bolts on the engine.

Hi. Do a search for "supercharging". There's another thread where the numbers are given of people who claim to have done this before. I'm very interested in this myself.

I believe it will cost around GBP 3000.

Regards,

Mooch

Cheers. I should av thought of that b4... DUH!!!

4000GBP was the figure in my head. Nice to know it might be less...

I'll do the search now.

Look on http://www.twinturbo.net as well, because supercharging seems much more popular over there... but just had a quick look myself and it wasn't encouraging. Lots of "let us know when you've done it, sounds cool" type replies. :slap:

This one's interesting though:
