Torsion bar joint

in a previous post I said my front wheel was too far forward, well after getting car up all looks ok, no bent or twisted metal etc.

ย

I have took some photos of the joint to see if you think it could be faulty or if you can see something else wrong?

Thanks

Can you take the wheel off and take some pics so I can see the top link m8? That all looks fairly fine there. Another usefull view would be the braket that the tie-bar attaches to, not the wishbone, with its surrounding area...

Oh and I knew it was a UK car before I even looked at your sig - standard nissan brown everywhere :(

Cheers Andy - will do - probably be eith er much later on tonight or tomorrow now though

much appreciated mate

Take it those are after market poly bushes. If that is the car jacked up they are not deforming much. I would expect to see the twist on the bush end if the wheel is off the ground.

The rust around the nuts on the wishbones might also be nothing but then again should the top side be examined for cracks in the light of the previous issue re this.
