Agreed. Things like

 

"Have speed cameras made you more aware of your speed?" Yes, but only to the detriment of concentrating on the road and other users, in most people's cases. Was driving with someone once and he was so concerned about looking in hedges and behind signs for cameras that he was failing to see brake lights and traffic lights!

Could be the questions were designed to get the answers they want.

 

Such as, "Look, the Male age group 25-35 think that speed cameras are a bad thing, but their the ones who get caught most, so they would say that."

 

Does that make me too cynical? ;)

Fairly annoyed with the format of the questions though. Damn beurocrats think that we can all be nailed into one of an ever decreasing number of categorisations. Fools.

 

And no, I am not more speed conscious due to cameras. Simple matter is that I was never an idiot to start off with....well at least not in urban areas, its just asking for trouble. :(

I was driving down the motorway to day about 75 and it was virtually empty. All of a sudden the car in front of my slammed on the brakes and the car in the middle lane did too. I had to slow down sharply too all becuase there was a police car parked on the bridge. How is that enforcing motorway safety? Their presense nearly caused an accident.
