I've got a manual TT '89 model and have recently started to get a bit of slip on the clutch under load. It's booked into the garage to get a new clutch on Wednesday but surfing the net I found reference to 'early models suffered slip due to clutch pedal return spring being too weak'!!
Due to wear and tear it looks like I will get it replaced regardless, (it's down to biting on the last inch) but is it worth getting the garage to check out the spring anway?
Has anybody else heard of or experienced this problem?
