Between 60 and 65c depending on WOT or not ;)

bloody hell!!!! my water temp is hovering around the 80 mark while my oil is around the 90 how the hell do you get it down to 65?

Water is OK considering the thermostat only opens at 76.5ºC

i would have thought oil temps would have been higher than the water anyway!?

Sorry all,not with it yesterday evenin, thought post said water temp :nelson:

Waiting for a oil temp gauge from Chris actualy,(must be an age thing  )

oiltemp during normal driving : around 70 Celcius,

oiltemp in heavy traffic (stop/go) or WOT: between 80-90 Celcius, but drops to 70 after 10-15 minutes of normal driving.

hotest I have ever seen was 115 Celcius, which was on a Track during a very hot day.

With low outside temperatures (winter) the temps are usually 5-10 degrees lower.

Also remarkable was that at the time my headgaskets were leaking my oiltemps were around 100 Celcius most of the time (with the engine fully warmed up) and the temp never went down (even if you took it easy and didn't put much load on the engine)
