Hi there, please visit the PNOC - Performance Nissan Owners Club.

Were a new club, with a team full of Nissan Enthusiasts.

It costs nothing to be apart of the club, and everybody and anybody is welcome!

You don't even have to own a Nissan to be part of the community.. as I said everyone is welcome.

Were booked into all the major events this year, where we'll have our own club stands where the finest Nissans in the club will be on show.

Join the forums to take part in Discussion about all things Nissan, and all things.. everything really!

Got a tech question? And our reps will do their upmost to help out with the problem.

Got a part you need? Then use our wanted section to advertise to the world what your after!!!

Got something you want to sell? The advertise in our for sale section.

Want to be a part of a growing community at no cost to anyone!? then sign up on our forums!!

If you're a Nissan enthusiast, .. a car enthusiast .. there really is no reason why you shouldn't sign up and become a part of our community.

Were after feature cars for our web site, and also area reps.. Were looking to expand nationwide.. So we need you?! Do you know ppl that would sign up? then you could be what were after!

Were opening the club with a competition. The main top logo's on the web site aren't quite to the standard i'd like.. So the 1st person to send me a better set of images win a free set of PNOC Stickers!

I think you are typing in your username and password BEFORE you've registerd.

Click on the "register" word near where it says username and password........?

Thx James.

me too..:)

Went on and got registered no probs not a bad site at all would be a good site for us lot to liase with me reckons , kinda good to see some of us ZX boys on there to compete with all the other Nissan models. Probably will eventually bring in a large influx of new members for this site too given time.

Yah indeed mate,

When I was creating the site I didn't quite no what response i'd get from other owners clubs.. I didn't want them to think I was trying to take over or steal their peeps..

I made the site for something to bring all Nissan owners together..

But sure enough if a 300 owner stumbles accross the site, he will soon find out about this site :)

Has someone been talking :D

Hey Mark, I'll try and sort it for ya if you email me :) andy@pnoc.co.uk let us know mate :)

Any others!?

Keep posting guys :)

instead of having sections specific to each car why not use the forum software to link directly to well established clubs? that way your forum will be a sort of community resource rather than somewhere with relatively small information on each type of car,

you can then use the rest of the forum to build a "nissan community"

im sure we would link to your site in the same way if this was the case.

The point of the club is to bring all Nissan owners together, i'm sure most 200sx owners don't look on the 300zx forums, but the PNOC gives a chance for that to be done.. Its a base for a lot of knowledge to be picked up, and is aimed to be a community rather than a problem solving web site.

We never will try and rival specific owners clubs, nor do we think we would be able to if we tried. Just We are aiming to build on the different types of Nissans out there.

yuh, thats what i think would be good, if you concentrated on that area but not for specific cars, instead when they clicked on the skyline section it goes off to the gtr.co.uk website if you know what i mean.

the main part of your site can then be used as a mixing pot for information, in the same way a 200 user may never visit our site there is no reason for him to visit the 300zx section of your site for answers.

the main problem with starting up forums is the lack of content over the entire board, if you concentrate your main membership into the sections that serve your mission statement then i am sure it will grow much quikcer and give people more of what they want from your site.

Im not bothered about the rivalry, i just see your site as having a lot of potential for bringing all the nissan communities together. A sort of middle ground meeting point, where people can discuss matters but still disperse out to the other forums for direct relative information about their car.

only trying to give advise :)

Yeah I see your point chap, and to a degree do agree.

Although I own an s13.. when I am on the SXOC I do browse and post in the s14 section.

Its just being a part of the community you see.

And proven already is that the diff car sections are being browsed by diff car owners :)

:D Any more for any more!?

Brilliant mate!

Looking good :)

I think you missed the point I was trying to make.

At the moment the top half of your forum is doing extremely well for a new site, the bottom half is not doing so well, personally if I want technical information about a car I will go to 300zx.co.uk for my zed, and gtr.co.uk for a skyline and sxoc for a 200 :)

now there is no central point where i can go and talk to all the different nissan clubs about different cars, it would be nice if say your site catered to this market, then when I wanted skyline techincal chat I click where it says now "skyline techincal chat" and it takes me straight off to http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum

I'm sure we would be quite happy to have a forum that says "General Performance chat" that when clicked goes throug to http://www.pnoc.co.uk/forum/

that way your site is a community site where all the forums get together and doesn't have that very sparse looking section that is getting very little use.

just all IMHO, its your site after all,

Yeah, it is a good idea!

But i'm using RoverTech and PassionFord as examples and they work ok.

Will think on it dude :)

  • 1 year later...
