Luke sells a leather kit from the zcentre.

Retrim guide is here:

I'm about to start my retrim in leather. I've bought a hide from a tanner for £150 and I'm going to stitch it myself. Should be fun!

Thanks for the link.

I think i will give retrimming ago myself and see what happens. All i have to do is choose what colour to use!

...just bought a full leather interior from a scrap yard, black leather seats and suade (can't spell) door cards and other trim inc glove box etc, everything, inc UK spec seatbelts, mountings and plastic panels (different to Jap spec) - £300.

Congratulations - you did well!!!

Get it sorted westy, you'll be surprised how easy it is once you've done your first panel.

The information on Stu's site is bang on. I used evostick contact adhesive, it's so easy to use. If you cock it up you just rub the glue off & try again.

Only advice is make sure your piece of leather or vinyl is bigger than the bit it's going on (obviously).

Good luck with it :)

By the way, all the panels are easy to get off.

Get some pics on when your done.

The guy that did my door panels said that they were quite fiddly to do, how did you find it Snurdf ?

The rear quarter panel are the hardest I would say.

Doors are tricky but not really hard to do.

The secret is in the glue you use. if you use the right spray glue then you won't have any bubbles. The only problem is that you won't know if it was the right glue until the summer when it gets warm and the glue heats up.

But for anyone who is thinking of doing this. It's so much easier than it looks, just ask anyone who has done it. There's hardly any skill involved and it's not like you need to buy another kit if you cock it up, just get an extra 2 meters of material and you can't go wrong.

Good luck guys

Yep, follow Stu's instructions and you won't go far wrong!!

It's much easier if you get someone to help you hold bits on the door panels,/rear quarters.
