i have got 255/40/17 on the back of my zed does anyone know what pressure these size tyres should have in them. ive got 28 psi in them at the moment

Put chalk on the tyre, drive onto something black, check to see if all parts of the tread are in contact with the ground. If "yes" goto "end" if outside missing "let out air" if middle missing "put in air". Rinse, lather, repeat.

Same as mine!!

You need 33psi in the fronts and 36psi in the rears. Try and get a calibrated gauge to check the pressures. I have one that's accurate to within 0.001psi but the garage airlines can be out as much as 3psi. It REALLY does make the difference!!
