Boost, Code 34, Det Sensor ??????????

Been having some probs recently, Still awaiting my JWT chip and Boost Jets, and have installed another boost gauge, Found out i was running low boost (6-7psi) got great help some guys on this site. have got code 34 on ECU, so i look under the bonnet at where the Det Sensor is connected to the electris and find the connector but nothing plugged into it??????

The engine recently had a rebuild (December) at SE Nissan, could they have forgotten to plug this back in??? if so Where is it, i cannot find where it needs to plug into.... also did the resistor check on the connector, ECU still reports code 34, but i am able to run 9psi???? is this weird????

What do i do next???

Cheers

Hi Bazz,

My first point of call would be SE Nissan to find out why a connector has been left disconnected.

When you put the resistor in, did you reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for about an hour?

Had the battery disconnected for about 30 mins poss a bit less, but why is it still showing code 34 and i can get 9psi????

you should not be able to get 9 psi with a code 34, not sure what's going on there?????????????????

The only thing I can think of is if you had a boost controller fitted and the wastegate solenoids were disconnected, but that wouldn't be it as you were stuck at 7psi initially................................
