Need someone to drive my Z, ASAP

Following on from my thread on the members forum and my apparent lack of power in being unable to totally annihilate an AUDI TT, there MUST be something wrong with my Z TT.

Can someone who lives in Leicester or surrounding areas with a Z TT (auto), PLEASE get in touch and we can meet up and swop briefly so I can what I have been missing out on and they can give me some pointers how what may be wrong.........fecking hell!!

iv got a jap TT auto, but i dnt think il be any use to you cos i dnt know anythin mechanically about th cars really, chunks got a beauty, ask him (he might not be fit enough tho after th recent op)

Was it the 225bhp tt? they're quick cars!

Have you run an ecu check for any codes?

You could be running on safety boost, is the car

noticeably slower, or has it always been like it?

Give me a call 07788838600

Rich :D

the newer audi TTs run two gears at the same time dont they, or something? still shouldnt be a match for a Z tho. let me know how u get on bruise! :)

The 225bhp TT is pretty quick compared to "ordinary" cars but a stock ZXtt auto should still be quicker (He says knowingly ;) )

Did it actually beat you or just keep up?

A chipped one could be around 260bhp which would help it keep up with a ZX but still not beat it....

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

He kept behind me quite well. I truly thought I would leave him for dead. After we hit 130mph+ I thought I'd better slow down. Wanna keep my licence....know what I mean!!!

He didn't beat me, but he kept up with me. Need to find out IF i'm running on this safety boost. Quick trp to see Jeff I think!!

Cheers

a friend of mine has just spent over 22 grand on a 3.2V6 AudiTT ( 240 BHP )he is most cheesed off because my 300 TT eats his hairdressers mobile for breakfast

they are a lot lighter than a zed but absolutely no match is your footwell carpet stopping your throttle pedal going all the way down ??

well there is something wrong with your car,who does the tuning work on it?Even in stock form you should have nailed him.

Lost count of the number of Audi TT's I left behind ;) But mine's not standard :D

Even when it was, you can leave them standing. Apart from the 3.2 version, that one's a bit harder to beat. ;)

My guess is you may be running safety boost

do an ecu test and see if youve got the dreaded code 34.
