Very true, but the standard seatbelt I have is not going to save me at 20mph, let alone 70+. It's appaling. It never retracts without me pushing it in, and when it catches on the momentum lock it's about 3 inches from the steering wheel! I'd be better off sticking a pillow on the dashboard.

GReddy do a superb set if your interested

Thanks Baggins. Chris - they look great, but I can't afford it at the moment. :( Is it easy to fit them to the Z?

Listen here Golum , just spoke to Chris regarding these and they come with a fitting kit which must be

welded or attached to the floor , they do not go in place of the standard

belts

YOU'RE the one not listening :p I said I have a SECONDHAND SEATBELT UNIT - why in hell would that need a fitting kit OR have to be welded to the floor? :p:D

Thanks Andy, that's a really kind offer! To be honest, I've kind of given up on finding any Z seatbelts that actually work effectively - I think I will go for a harness when I can afford it.

Thanks anyway mate

Ch :)

Ok Charles no probs - next time I'm down at my mums house I'll pick the unit up and check out its condition - if its any good I'll let you know ;)

Thanks mate -that would be great.

I dont think they would stop you getting a whiplash injury, be it the inertia type or harness type.

Just a thought.

I agree - you'll get whiplash whatever type you have - I just want to avoid being thrown into the steering column and dashboard!
