I have just been to my local tyre fitting place to have my tracking, etc done and they informed me that my (stock) wheels are on the wrong sides!! and need to be swapped over in order to cool the brakes efficiently.

When I looked closer at the wheels I saw an 'L' on my driver side wheel and an 'R' on the passenger side but my rears are the right way round.

Is this true and if so where do you read the sides from (ie. is right/left when you are looking at the car front on or when sitting in the car?)??? I assume it is when you are sitting in the car.
