Engine coming out, advice on what to check/replace please

Following my turbo seal disaster of last weekend which has temporarily halted my wide-arch project and new intercoolers depending on the total cost...the car is going in to get the engine removed, the turbo seals replaced and the turbos reconditioned in two weeks time.

I've asked the garage that is doing it to replace the PCV valves whilst they're at it, and check all hoses and replace as necessary.

Anything else sensible I should get them to go whilst the engine is out of the car and life is relatively easy?

Cheers

Yep loads... Depends on how much you want to spend though.

Det sensor AND harness

Turbo bypass hoses (coolant lines under plenum)

Oil pump

PCV hoses

Rear main crank seal

Worth doing a full cambelt kit with water pump etc

Thats the main bits I can remember. If I think of any more I'll post them :)

Cambelt tensioner, brass stud on the LH side of block.

Remove ECR system

Remove PRVR system

All the fuel line under the plenum

Hello Mark,

Brass stud on the LH side of the block, what's that??

Also what and how is/do you remove the PRVR system?

Cheers

Vijay
