Hi guys, I'm new to Zeds and just wondered if you could help me out...
When starting the engine from cold (or after leaving it for an hour or so) I get a quite loud clicking/knocking sound coming from the passenger side of the engine. It is in time with the engine revs ( I press the accelerator and it gets faster), it also seems to be louder when the car is moving.
The sound lasts for about 4-5mins (until the engine has warmed up I presume).
Another thing that may or may not be related is that I get a strange whining sound from the gearbox for about the same amount of time too but this was there a few weeks before the knocking sound appeared.
Any help will be much appreciated...cheers!!
