In the back i have 275/35/18 and i found a pair of 235/40/18 front for a very low price. All tyre guys suggest that if u have the 275/35/18 back u should fit 255/40/18 front basically 2 sizes bigger in the width and 1 size bigger at height.

Will i have any probs if i fit the 235/40/18? Anyone that had problems with tha same setup?:confused::confused:

Thanks

I think any difference would be pretty minimal.

On my old wheels I had 275 rears and 235 fronts, I didn't notice anything sinister!

I have a friend that has 255 on the front they look ok. But anyways thanks for the advise i'm going for the 235

cheers

I dunno if its just mine but i can only just squeeze a 35 profile on the front i think 40 will be to high and rub the top strut. I have a standard suspension set up.

You should check ur springs mate how old are they. The fronts on my car are 1yo, i fitted 18'' wheels and now i'm putting an aftermarket suspension to lower the car cause it looks like like an SUV

What width rims have you got for your 275 rears?

If you go over 245's on the front you'll rip the sh1t out of your inner wheel arches every time you turn more than half lock.

I have 275/30/19 on rears with 10 inch rims and they are stretched so so it must be the same for 18 inch wheels the size I need next is 325/20/19 which is fitted to some porche am led to believe.where is the best place to get em ?, The cheapest price is £245 each that I can find

Hi Pambos, I have the blitz z1 technospeed wheels, yes they are very nice but a bitch to keep clean and scratch easy and corrode if you don't keep up to them . but they look the dogs danglies..oh they are heavy as well lol

Cheers Syko!!! What do u use for cleaning them? Do u put anything for polishing because they told me not to atempt to use something that i havent heard of it because some polishing creams and stuff have the opposite results than shine them

Hi Pambos, the best thing I found for cleaning them an leaving streak free finish is the cif oxy spray, spay on and leave 10 mins then wash as normal with soft sponge
