You must have either category 1 or category 2 Thatcham security fitted to your vehicle - this will be clarified when you get your quote

The following imported vehicles are not covered:

Nissan Skyline

Nissan Figaro

Renault Twingo

93 onwards makes it pretty useless for zeds, and a lot of popular cars not insurable, great. NU are fantastic for young drivers though fwiw.

I am insured with NU direct, and have a 91 jspec, although I am aware of the possible seven day limit on the courtesy car an d have a cat 1 alarm/immob. No other restrictions apply, and it was cheap to.

My NU insurance expired 20 Jan. They wouldn't do direct because my 300's a Jap import, so went through a broker.

Renewal quote £985 :shock: Ken @ Houghton halved it for me. :D :D :D

 

Unmodified 1991 with cat 1 alarm.

just go to another insurer ! They all have things they won't insure or give decent quotes on.
