HI Jaz,

let me know as well - if i'm free i'll pop over to take look.

Regards,

alex

The pictures of the one on the car are definitely modified in paintshop ! The picture of the one at the top of the thread is the real McCoy. I took the picture of the paintshop modded one round to Luke and asked if he could make it. As it turned out to be a Strosek with the lights cut away it turned out to be a fairly easy job. I've seen it fitted roughly to the car and it looks the dogs bollards.

You don't need to change the standard intercoolers, but as the vents go much higher than the OEM bumper you have the option of putting on taller intercoolers to catch more cold air (Luke's looking into this option already apparently ;) )

Put the number plate wherever you like I guess - I'm going to see how long I can get away with one of those stick on ones. My Z hardly ever ventures out of the garage anyway !

konrad

Konrad, thanks for the info, but I still can't work out how the alternative headlight panels would work, and also, I thought there was a legal requirement to display a front number plate - if that wasn't the case, why did they put those silly offest ones on Alpha 156s?

and does the price include the headlamp kit with the integral indicators?

Hmmm

I've been waiting for my "you'll be first off the production line" since December, hence the fact I've not had my zed for 3 months. Interesting to see others been promised the same  .

Anyway, been promised it will arrive at PPS by the end of this week (we'll see)!! New Viper widearse on its way then!!!

Number plate: Luke was talking about having it inside the main opening, centre top.

Indicators & Sidelights: both are a problem as they existed as part of the main beam. Am looking into how to convert main beam buckets on standard lights to contain an indicator. Trouble is that it is likely to mean removing the bumper and lights to change a bulb!!

God. Thats what happens when you try and 5 things at once. :slap:

Correction:

Lights: Original indicators and sidelights were part of bumper. Therefore new sidelights and indicators are required to be added to this bumper or incorporated into original headlights. Luke is looking into this, but a bit pricey. I'm looking at alternatives, but as the headlights are tightly shoehorned into car, access for bulb changes will be a nightmare!!!

mmm, you might be putting me off the idea now!!

Credit to Luke though, the ideas for "angel eye" lights and incorporated indicator (poss. a strip down the side a bit like 350Z) do sound superb!!!

Jaz, James, Alex !!

Whenever you guys are free. My Z's still up in Sunderland, but should be back the weekend of the 28th (at the latest).

Did you guys know that the fine is LESS for NO front number plate at all than if you get caught with an Undersized plate or a plate that has been made with modified letters i.e. black number plate bolts to change the appearance of letters, or a different style of lettering.

Stu, I took couple of pics of your car in progress over the last week or so. Can amail them to you on Fri if you're interested??

Cheers

Rich

So if you put a couple of small bolt sized holes in the bumper, and possibly a bolt hanging out........ ;)
