The driver front brake disk is wobbleing when I take the wheel off while the otherside doesnt :(

Is that the wheel bearing?

Featured Replies

Think that just means the other disc is rust gunged tight on nothing else. I think the wheels hold the disc tight to the hub normally. ie, take off the caliper and the disc just falls off.

If your hub itself is wobbling on the shaft then that's a sure sign of a finished wheel bearing

I thought that too but some one suggested the wheel bearing was gone.

The disk is held on by the wheel.

bolt the wheel back on - if it wobbles then well then it points to problems at the wheel bearing or elsewhere.

Banging or knocking usually down to worn bushes, top links maybe or not sufficiently tightened bolt thru tension rod bushes.

have you checked the hub nut yet?

wheelm bearing would be much easier to diagnose with the wheel on, as it would be much easier to move.
