hicas problem

i have removed the ecu and replaced it with a haltech e11 .since this the hicas will only work for a short while.i have a feeling that im missing a signal or the signal iv programmed is not the right one .the hicas and rev counter are joined toghether in the main harnes,but the rev counter works

Just buy an eliminator bar and remove it it's probably easier.

If you don't want to do that, I'd imagine it's the speed sensor signal you're missing.

will the eliminator bar not make a difference in the steering quality.can you also please tell me were i could find a eliminator bar .i live in south africa and to find stuff for the z isnt easy .

Courtesy parts in the US do one for $195. Just got one, really well made.

IF you get an NA steering pump too you can remove all the hydraulics as well.

Shouldn't affect the steering feel - having said that it will feel odd if you don't have the speed sensor signal connected up - the assistance is speed related.
