Anyone following the thread regarding the central pod size and if it might be big enough to fit a Profec e -01 screen, it isn't!

So I'm looking at having a larger pod made to order. Only possible if we gat a number made up together, so is anyone out there interested?

Price to be confirmed but in the region of £70 at a guess.

Will it not stick up too far though?

In my humble experience, there's no such thing as sticking up too high!

(by my calculation it will be only 20-25mm higher than the one on my earlier picture - think I can live with that)

Just one thought/concern and that's the thieving scum who might think your boost controllers or whatever are worth nicking, is it really such a good idea to have things so blatently on show? - just a thought.............................

Vijay

I have thought about that Vijay and I am planning to do three things,

One is to fix the screen down very securely to the section of dash under the pod and two, is to make a blanking plate to cover it over when parked anywhere suspect and three (the most important of all!) NEVER park anywhere suspect!

(I used to own a Saab 9000 CSE Carlsson which got done over twice when parked after dark in well lit streets and carparks in Manchester City Centre 0 total damage in the region of £14 000! - so I learned this lesson well!)
