I'm running 16psi, JWT ECU, HKS Drager, K&N/JWT Cone type filter.

What BHP am I likely to be getting because this thing seems way quicker than I was expecting since fitting the boost upgrade.

I've noticed on the JWT site they recon 380BHP at about 12psi with their boost jets but I don't have those, only the Blitz DSBC.

Anyone got a similar setup and had it tested?

Always be conservative with figure but a little over 400bhp would be realistic, thats alot of power!!

i read yesterday that with 400bhp a zed should get 0-100mph in about 11 secs

Chris,

can you post the url of that page that describes the various expected power increases. I'd be really interested in that.

Cheers,

Andy

All your cars = 400bhp

My car 600bhp lol

600hp ? my ass..you couldn't even keep up with us lot when we were doing 130mph on the way to silverstone ! wink.gif

you probably mean 600 misfires ! lol

Bwhahahahaha i actuaslly have to thank you lymon my car is now running perfectly thanks alot for you help.

next up ill do the cleaning bit,

Yeah Chris, you're right. If the 396bhp is accurate (I think it may be slightly optimistic) and they say that is at 12.5psi, then you will be a fair bit higher. What amazed me when I got the boost controller is the difference that 0.1 bar makes to performance.

I'm no expert but I think that the 16psi that you are running is a bit too high for stock injectors. Maybe someone else can comment? I was told 15psi max for stock injectors and 13.5-14psi sustained was safe. At the moment, I have some valve that is restricting me from going above 1 bar. I'll get rid of this in time but for the moment I am running about .9 bar peak which has enough of a kick to make me giggle like a schoolgirl (just ask Warren who could see my grin from his rear view mirror).

Andy

And the 396 bhp is worked out the american way... it's less when comparing figures over here.

for example... in the us our Z's would rate at 300bhp instead of 285bhp...

But my car has at least a good 1000bhp, not like you lot in your milk floats. lol.

He he he well mine is the fstest milk float here lol

Not at Trax it wasn't, LOL.
