Right, thought it was about time I organised an event for the Midlands (all area's feel free to attend of course!!) ;)

 

Place: The Boat Inn, Solihull, Birmingham (5 minutes from the NEC/M42)

 

Time: Midday onwards

 

If people want me to organise lunch etc, I need to know about 1-2 weeks in advance of numbers wishing to attend so I can sort tables etc......or we could just go in and swamp the place (obviously depending on numbers attending!! LOL) We have had events at this venue before so I'm sure we will be welcome back!! ;)

Mark - I posted directions earlier in this thread so have a look back at page 2 or 3 (I think). I'll be bringing my ConZult so can have a look for you. Meet will start from 12 noon and run however long we are there for (usually about 3 - 4 hours including time for a meal).

 

DISCLAIMER: Although I'm more than happy to check your cars with my ConZult I do want to have some time to chat and gawk at your cars as well (unlike some previous meets where I've been doing non-stop ConZult checks).

just got back from this, was a good meet, nice to meet old faces again and of course the new ones. The conzult was a pretty neat bit of equipment, Danny I might have to pursuade you to do ours next time ;).

 

And SMW, WTF kind of BOV's you running on that thing, so LOUD :eek:, your car looks *so* sweet when its in the wing mirror :p

Even though he couldn't sort my car properly because my Throttle Position Sensor is scoobied. He did ajust it a bit and what a difference top man and thanks for that.

Stu (SMW1), thanks for the roof bags (bloody superb). I heard you car before I seen it, and when the dump valve does it's thing, man it's loud!! (but excellent). Fantastic car mate. Thanks to your other half for keeping mine occupied, they seem to get on well and have a good laugh ;)

 

Emero (Diane), seemed particularly happy now that the Zd's back flying again. That was until Danny ran a conzult check on the car (never seen anyones face drop so quickly!!), but alas no dramas :D

 

Thanks to Stu (SMW1) for "forcing" me to drive well in excess of the speed limit on the way to the meet. Least I didn't get you all lost!!!

 

Thanks to Clarkey's dad, who sat waiting patiently in the car all through the meet and or course a big cheer for Chunks, who despite being in severe pain managed to sit through the entire meet in the passenger seat of Yaz's car WELL DONE RICH!!! :bow:

Was great to see everyone yesterday, not a bad turn out in the end! :) Diane, that cross-member really did beggar belief seeing it up close and personal :eek: Big thanks to Danny for PM'ing me to let me know about the puddle of coolant I left behind :( to John for sorting out my obscure idle problem back at mine and to Lucie for not killing me tooooo much after she accidentally found out I'd just bought some new Nismo injectors! :eek: ;) (Rich, I think I need professional help to stop mate! :D)
