I remember sometime back there was a post about having some sort of button to be able to have just a single wipe for the front wipers, has anyone ever done this?

Please tell me thay have. This is one of those really trivial things that really hacks me off.

Yeah! - that and the fact that when you turn the engine on (and have left the climate control on previously) it start to blow at full fanspeed with the AC on! Most annoying.

Reversing beeper on imports!

That is definitely fix-able.

Which fuse cuts out the reversing beeper or is it a wire removal job. Either will be well worth the hassel. Everyone takes the piss.

The fact that when you turn off the wipers, they just HAVE TO do that one extra sweep,

drives me crazy sometimes...

 

I guess I'll have to disassemble the wiper control box when I have some free time...fat chance...

 

To do a single sweep would require modifications to the wiper control box, I think.

A double sweep is easier to make. It would require a momentary switch to be wired to the

wiper switch harness.

Thats how you know you have a good Z when all that annoys you is the extra sweep the wipers always make!

aahhh but have ya all noticed why the extra wipe cycle???? if you use the wipers on intermittent they do not park fully down off the screen ready to sweep again.When you switch off, the wipers do another full swip so they can park lower down...less wind resistance I assume.The wipers need to sweep more than once to perform the repark correctly.
