Can you guys tell me what clutches the 300 uses, I am trying to source a 240mm PUSH type for my skyline and I had heard that the Non Turbo Z32 has this type-can anyone confirm this?

Rb25det is using an almost identical gearbox to the z so the clutches might be the same. Y dont you get an aftermarket clutch for your skyline?

Pambos, the skyline aftermarket clutches are sooooooooooo expensive, but with the Z you can pick up parts very cheap from the states

Which clutch are you after and i'll tell you where to get it from. Ah and how much hp is your car?

My car will be approx 370hp soon and i would like a clutch that will take a bit of abuse but not wear out too quickly, I don't mind compromising a bit ie heavy pedal etc

RPS clutches are the way forward! Are you doing the flywheel as well?

Smithy in traders section deals with RPS. If they fit a Skyline that may be your best route. It's heavy but it's great when you're driving hard, it really snaps into gear. Even better in a Skyline come to think of it, the one problem I have with quick gearchanges is spinning the wheels accidentally!

Well the flywheel depends on the cost aswell, I have a spare one and was thinking of getting it lightened, but I've read a few horror stories about it so I'm not sure.

So are the 300's a push type clutch then?

I didn't lighten me flywheel, I bought a car with a fidanza on!

New Z is stock at the mo and I can tell you there's a hell of a difference... in a good way when booting it but in a bad way in traffic.. you can't really bimble round at 2k revs and you have to downshift "properly"

Is it just the v-spec that has the multiplate clutch?

Dont do such a thing a lighten your flywheel. Go for RPS or JUN check with Smithy at the traders and he'll set u up a good price
