Some crunchy rattly-type noises are coming from my front drivers-side wheel area when I go over bumps- especially (but not exclusivlely) when the car is cold- although there is a bit of a clunk over bad bumps.

 

Is this likely to be suspension bushes, suspension arms?, springs?, or could it possibly be any one of a number of things? My washer tank is leaking at this side and it gets a bit wet down there, could this affect things? Looks like I have a few 'little' jobs need doing. Of course, they won't end up little will they...

You can sometimes get 'Caliper Creak' when your pads are a bit low, and also sometimes the bonnet catch creaks and sounds like it's coming from behind the dash/wheel-well area. Might be worth checking. There's a write up somewhere about how to fiddle with the bonnet catch and make it shut up!
