Dash Kits

There are some brushed aluminium and Japanese rosewood dash kits for the 300zx on ebay at the moment. Has anyone fitted either of these? are they any good?

Anyone got a photo of one fitted to their car.

I think I prefer the alloy look one but dont want to go tacky ;)

Cheers

Make sure they are for RHD cars mate.

a fair few parts will not fit otherwise.

Hi Jay

Just got a brushed Ali kit today from the uk ebay link I posted on the other thread about these kits. The quality is great and bearing in mind I have a standard 94 uk model that I am trying to keep satandard but don't mind adding a few removal bits to spice it up a bit. It took less than 2 weeks to arrive and cost me 70 quid for a 16 piece kit.The packaging is excellent and the kit is second to none although two pieces are not correct as they have not been cut for the RHD (items 15 and 16) on the diagram. I have e-mailed them this evening and I am waiting a reply although I have no doubt in my mind they will sort this, even if they didn't I would still be happpy as my 10 year old car that looks like a new model on the outside now looks 10 years newer on the inside. I am that impressed that I have approached them on importing these kits "in bulk" and I am waiting a reply. I will post some pics ASAP and let you know on the incorrect pieces.

Hi Ady,

have you had a reply about items 15 & 16 not fitting a RHD 300ZX? I have also asked Klassno and waiting a reply. Let's see if he gets in contact with either of us.

Hi cg

No, no reply as yet but when you say klassno I am not sure if this is the same company that I was dealing with, the dash kit I bought was from NYC dash kits.

I hope they are not gonna let me down like most companies with their after sales service. (we have got your money and we don't care anymore). We shall see.

I'll keep you posted

Cheers

Hi Ady,

"Klassno" = BDTrims, Brooklyn, New York. Just wonder if they supplied to NYC dash kits. Anyway, will keep you posted as well.

Myself and Baggins both tried this mate with no joy. Good luck, if you can get some I would be very interested in one. ;)

Hi, got a reply today and sent photo's to show the problem, they apologised and said they didn't recieve the original e-mail. The box has got a sticker showing bd trims so NYC are either one of the same or a supplier........i"ll keep you poated.

I just bought one of these kits, but e-mailed him about the 2 non-fitting bits b4 paying.

He has given me a £7 discount, so the kit comes to £50 +P&P with discount. :D

Got a reply and they are going to remake the new bits and suggested I would recieve them in 3-4 days.
