Anyone want to post up their results from Thor, I'll make an excel spread sheet like Ryan did for the SE RR.

 

I think the only thing that will be different between auto's and manuals is the ft/lb torque as I think the auto's were tested in 2nd and the manuals in 4th.

Stu, interested that you managed to get peak at 6.6k, did it run to the redline at that sort of boost OK? Sort of points to my fuel system being a bit rough if mine ran out of injector at 5500rpm and 15psi :(

Yeah mate all these figures are at the wheels/hubs.

I did ask the guy for a guesstimate of my flywheel figure and he said that on a maual 300zxTT it will be about 20% more than hub figure which would give me 426BHP at the fly (although this is of no importance, I'm more than happy with the RW figure :D )

Well looking at the HP graph I have a major flat spot between 5k & 6krpm my hp drops from 340 @ 4900rpm to 335 @ 5850rpm but then shoots right up to 355 @ 6690rpm. May need a little custom mapping to improve the fuel at that level, but I'm happy with it at the moment. Once I get my bigger turbo's and 555's, I'll look into the mapping more.

Probably a timing thing, if your AFR was constant there. Some tuners maps have a pretty big dip in the timing at that point.

 

Found a badly kinked vacuum line to the PVPR system this morning so I'm hoping that's what was wrong :eek:

so looking at the FACTS then so far cj has the most powerful zed on the furum. although i dont think you will keep the crown long.

Some really good torque figures have come out from this Thor RR day. Wish I'd come along now, but my Zed is back at SE/Nisstek for more tuning and bodywork. Plus my missus wouldn't let me out. :(

 

SMW1 - I am impressed with your figures as you haven't had the ecu chipped yet.

 

_cj_ - Based on your spec, I would suspect once the tuning is sorted out, you'd see another 100 hp on your posted figures.

The figures that impress me the most are John Dixons, stock tubs and injectors and only running 14.5psi!

You have to lose some BHP, because there was no tyres/wheels involved, which in your case has to be a bonus :tongue:

Think I might have sorted my fuelling probs, just bypassed the PVPR system to remove the kinked hose (and some more complexity).

Still starts OK without the fuel boost it gives, so hopefully no downside. Maybe be able to rev a bit higher now.

Might buy a wideband O2 sensor I think!

 

Cj's car will be awsome when it's running right. Made that power at bugger all revs/boost v. impressive :eek:

So are you saying that the only person you think hit 400 BHP at the fly with stock tubs was JD with 358 @ the hubs ?
