I've only had the car about a week.

I understand the heater except the 'auto' button.

Also how can you tell if the air con is on or off? I guess it's off now cos it's cold but is there any way I can tell in summer or stop it soming on to preserve power / fuel?

Cheers

auto = A/C on

Hi Craig,

Didn't you get the manual, mate?

Auto = everything including a/c on. Electronics regulate temp to your setting and direction of airflow.

Econ = eveything EXCEPT a/c on, otherwise same as above (cheaper to run in winter without the a/c)

REC = recirculated air inside car. Doesn't draw in fresh air and only works with a/c on (auto position)

OFF = pretty obvious ;) everything switched off.....

HTH

Richard :smw:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Excellent; thanks again.

Yes, auto it had to be. The newest manual i could find was about £3k more and two years older.
