Filled up the car on Monday with Opti' as usual, full to the top! However, a couple of times this week, I have opted to go to work the slightly longer way, which as it stands, happens to be the motorway which is normally has faster traffis than the A road I use.

However, like some of you, I know how many miles to expect at each quarter point of the fuel gauge. For me, it's around 50 at the 3/4 mark and 121 at the 1/2 way mark.

Since doing these journeys, I had clocked nearly 60 miles at 3/4 and 147 at the 1/2 way mark.

So, it goes to show that on the right road, the Z can be easy'ER, on your pocket!

Just thought I'd share that ya'.

My Z32 reads much as yours does on the motorway, but at the same marks on the fuel guage my S13 does. Weird, except my Zed costs an extra £12 to fill up

Having only owned my Z since the end of last year, I have noticed this as well. Not sure about figures yet, but have defo noticed the diff between the drive home with it, M62 & A1, and a few drives to work in it, A607 to Melton, and also the tootling around town

But then I only intended to use this for going out in, and not doing the shopping

Dave

When on holiday taking it easy on the motor way I got 250miles before it reached half way.

It then very quickly plummeted, but managed over 30MPG

After decatted my pipes I noticed a decent improvement in my mpg..especially on long journeys

I thrash the hell out of mine most of the time and living out in the sticks my journey to work is usually conducted for the most part in excess of 90 mph and only slowing down or stoping when I must. Yet she averages about 24 mpg. Which is better than my T5

I aim for 150 at the halfway mark during normal commuting and have seen about 195 on long, all motorway, journeys.

who cares............just fill her up and gooooooooooooo

who cares............just fill her up and gooooooooooooo

Your Dead right. I bought her to treat like a whore. Get in and give it the full nine yards as much as pos. Fill it up when shes low and Go Go Go :D
