can the tps be taken apart and cleaned

I don't thinks so bud, you can test them with a multimeter to see if there duff, I don't think there very expensive to replace.

No, it's not adviseable to take them apart. Best to buy a new one from Nissan.

This is a fairly common part amongst the Nissan range so should be in stock or at the lease easily attainable.

I've got one known good I bought from someone here, for an engine that has some rather more serious problems now (!) so I no longer need it. I paid 25 squid so I'm happy to pass it on again for that much if you like...

Dead easy to get, my local mandella got me one the next day. I think it was only £34+vat

 

If it is the same part as the other cars mentioned, I bet they charge more if you say it is for a ZX ;)
