I've done a search on these and there has been some discussion in the past but nothing definate.

I'm looking to get either one of these systems, the Road Angel now comes with the laser detector system, the display screen seems slightly more usful on the B2.

Anyone got sensible pros and cons for me? Recomendations etc..? They both seem to be about £400 give or take a pack of peanuts.

i bought the origin blue, the first one and could i get it to work...no!! and they are a pain in the ass to deal with but then again i have heard the new one is much better, also the road angel has won a few different awards so maybe the angel

Better buy a latest spec Palm or Sony with good colour screen plus gps sensor add on and voice guide gps software and speed camera software plus a cheap snooper to detect the laser. You'd get the lot for around £400. The gps is magic seen it in action.

WillieO - Not sure I could live with all the gubbins littered across the dashboard and all the power take-offs required. I've got a Zire71, but by the time I add the GPS module and speed camera software software and a cheap snooper I'm up to £300+ or so - I may as well go the extra dosh and get someting that's integrated and warranted.
